The concrete cylinders function as architectural structures and commemorate construction sites or archaeological ruins.They are also known to us as heavy construction infrastructure, and are also used as protective structures: houses and shelters. The rolls began to be created out of an investigation of these forms and the relationship between them and the human body. These shells of buildings stretch the material to its limit, just before it collapses.Next to the sculptural installation, Binder presents a video work documenting a trip to the side of the Separation-Wall passing along the Israeli highway #6, in which a silhouette of the artist is seen riding a scooter all over the wall, her constant movement teasing the huge concrete barrier and thus disrupting the scale.
